Question No. 20 1 min read

Can I use broadloom carpet as an area rug?

Yes. A piece of broadloom carpet bound on all four sides makes an excellent area rug, often at half the price of a comparable retail rug. Any size, any shape, any colour we stock.

It works well when you want:

  • A wider rug than retailers carry (12, 14, 15 ft widths)
  • An exact match to existing wall-to-wall carpet on adjoining stairs
  • A specific colour or pattern not in retail rug ranges
  • A heavy commercial-grade pile that retail rugs rarely offer

We cut broadloom remnants and serge or bind the edges in-shop. Bring the room dimensions; we handle the rest.
